Onze klant in Antwerpen is een groot logistiek bedrijf dat over de hele wereld transporten regelt. Hoewel ze wereldwijd actief zijn, voelt het op de werkvloer echt als een familiebedrijf.

Als Intermodaal Planner Containerlogistiek zorg jij er samen met je collega’s voor dat alles in de haven van Antwerpen soepel verloopt. In deze rol werk je in een team van een aantal andere gedreven planners. Jullie regelen het transport voor klanten, maar hoeven zelf geen rekening te houden met eigen vrachtwagens of rij- en rusttijden, omdat alles via onderaannemers gaat. Je bent de spil in het web die zorgt dat containers op tijd bij de klant aankomen.

Taken

  • Je plant en volgt transporten op, waarbij je vooral kijkt naar de beste manier om containers te vervoeren.
  • Je zoekt steeds naar de slimste balans tussen een tevreden klant en een planning die vlot loopt.
  • Het invoeren van de juiste prijzen in de computer is een belangrijk deel van je administratie.
  • Je houdt contact met vervoerders en agenten om te zorgen dat iedereen precies weet waar hij aan toe is.
  • Als er onderweg een probleem ontstaat, stroop je de mouwen op en los je het van begin tot eind op.

Profiel

  • Je hebt al ervaring opgedaan in containerlogistiek, import/export of intermodaal transport
  • Je spreekt en schrijft vlot Nederlands en Engels, zodat je iedereen goed te woord kunt staan.
