Jobinhoud:

Voor een internationale speler binnen transport en logistiek zoeken we een Intermodal Operations Manager. Je neem je de leiding over een complexe operationele werking en stuur je ervaren managers en hun teams aan. Je combineert operationeel leiderschap met een sterke focus op continuous improvement, efficiëntie en digitalisering, waarbij je processen end-to-end bekijkt en optimaliseert. Tegelijk bewaak je de kwaliteit van de dienstverlening en bouw je mee aan de verdere professionalisering van de organisatie.

Verder bestaat jouw takenpakket uit:

  • Coachen, ondersteunen en uitdagen van ervaren managers en leidinggevenden
  • Opvolgen van de dagelijkse operationele werking en stellen van duidelijke prioriteiten
  • Analyseren van KPI’s en SLA’s en deze vertalen naar concrete acties
  • Initiëren en implementeren van structurele verbetertrajecten over teams en afdelingen heen
  • Detecteren van opportuniteiten rond continuous improvement en digitalisering
  • Onderhouden van relaties met belangrijke klanten en bewaken van een kwalitatieve dienstverlening
  • Nauw samenwerken met interne stakeholders en operationele teams
  • Beslissingen nemen en toezien op een doeltreffende uitvoering

Wie zoeken we:

  • Je hebt meerdere jaren relevante managementervaring binnen supply chain, logistiek of operations, bij voorkeur in een complexe operationele context
  • Je hebt ervaring binnen een intermodale omgeving en met het aansturen en coachen van ervaren managers of leidinggevenden
  • Je hebt ervaring met veeleisende key accounts en bent vertrouwd met verwachtingen rond service, kwaliteit, KPI’s en SLA’s
  • Je denkt strategisch en analytisch en behoudt tegelijk een sterke voeling met de dagelijkse operatie
  • Je bekijkt processen end-to-end, herkent verbeterkansen en weet deze om te zetten in structurele resultaten
  • Je bent een zichtbare en betrokken people manager die richting geeft en tegelijk vertrouwen en autonomie biedt
  • Je communiceert helder, krijgt mensen mee in verandering en werkt vlot samen met verschillende stakeholders
  • Bereidt om mogelijks op termijn te werken met een permanentiesysteem tijdens het weekend, waarbij de permanentie vanuit kantoor wordt opgenomen
