The posting

In deze functie neem je de dagelijkse werking en verdere uitbouw van de CCTV- en access control systemen op je binnen meerdere terminals. Je werkt nauw samen met collega's op de sites en met externe leveranciers om de veiligheid en beschikbaarheid van de systemen te garanderen.

Concreet zal je:

  • beheren en onderhouden van CCTV systems, inclusief software upgrades, security patching, camera firmware updates en het oplossen van technische storingen;
  • configureren, onderhouden en ondersteunen van access control systems zoals badge readers, barriers, intercom systems en camera integrations;
  • technische oplossingen ontwerpen en implementeren ter ondersteuning van terminal expansions en port infrastructure development;
  • oplossingen ontwikkelen en uitrollen naar aanleiding van wijzigingen in security policies en operationele requirements;
  • system performance monitoring uitvoeren en zorgen voor de betrouwbaarheid en beschikbaarheid van de CCTV- en access control-omgevingen;
  • vendor management opnemen: samenwerken met en aansturen van third-party vendors en contractors bij installaties, maintenance en projectimplementaties;
  • actief zoeken naar verbetermogelijkheden in bestaande systemen, processen en security infrastructure. Daarnaast:
  • zorg je voor de continue en betrouwbare operatie van de CCTV- en toegangscontrolesystemen op de sites onder jouw verantwoordelijkheid;
  • ondersteun en realiseer je nieuwe CCTV- en access control projecten van ontwerp tot implementatie;
  • bewaak je dat de security infrastructuur in lijn blijft met business- en compliancevereisten;
  • beheer en ondersteun je systemen over meerdere locaties, momenteel onder meer in de regio's Zeebrugge, Rotterdam en Vlissingen.

Voor deze rol zoeken we een IT-professional met een stevige basis in CCTV en toegangscontrole, gecombineerd met een praktische, oplossingsgerichte aanpak.

Je profiel:

  • je bent vlot in het Engels; bijkomende talen zijn een plus;
  • je hebt 3 tot 5 jaar relevante ervaring in het beheren van CCTV- en access control systems;
  • je hebt kennis van CCTV- en access control platforms; ervaring met Genetec en/of Milestone is een sterk voordeel;
  • je hebt een goed begrip van de hardwarecomponenten die deze systemen ondersteunen;
  • je beschikt over kennis van fiber optic cabling en een basiskennis van networking principles;
  • je kan zelfstandig technische oplossingen uitwerken en voorstellen;
  • je werkt hands-on, denkt in oplossingen en neemt verantwoordelijkheid voor je dossiers;
  • je communiceert helder en kan vlot samenwerken met interne stakeholders en externe partners;
  • je voldoet aan de voorwaarden om een positieve veiligheidsscreening te kunnen bekomen voor kritische functies in de haven.
