Een OverKop-huis is een veilige plek voor jongeren waar ze vrij binnen en buiten kunnen lopen. Ze vinden er een luisterend oor en kunnen beroep doen op professionele psychologische hulp, zonder een label opgeplakt te krijgen. We bouwen aan een hulpverleningsaanbod “in huis”, zodat jongeren dicht bij hun leefwereld snel de nodige hulp kunnen inschakelen. Als jongerenwerker organiseer je leuke activiteiten, werk je outreachend en zorg je ervoor dat deze plek voor en door jongeren vorm krijgt. Klaar om het OverKop-huis in Grimbergen mee vorm te geven?

Jouw takenpakket

  • Je werkt een activiteitenprogramma uit en organiseert dit in samenspraak met de jongeren.
  • Je organiseert wekelijks 2 instuifmomenten op woensdag en vrijdag in de vrije tijd van jongeren en leidt dit in goede banen.
  • Je werkt outreachend om zowel georganiseerde als niet-georganiseerde jeugd te bereiken.
  • Je werkt mee aan de bekendmaking en netwerking van het OverKop-huis. Je neemt daarin zelf initiatief en zoekt mee hoe we Overkop in de regio verder kunnen ontwikkelen.
  • Je zoekt en motiveert vrijwilligers en zorgt voor de opleiding en opvolging.
  • Je werkt samen met een jeugdwelzijnswerker van het JAC en een eerstelijnspsycholoog die instaan voor professionele hulpverlening wanneer daar nood aan is.
  • Je hebt een diploma hoger onderwijs in een sociale of pedagogische richting, of bent gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
  • Je hebt affiniteit met kwetsbare doelgroepen en jongeren in het bijzonder, en zet jouw oplossingsgerichte coachingvaardigheden en kennis van outreachend werken in om jongeren en vrijwilligers te versterken.
  • Je kan vlot omgaan met anderstaligheid (NL – FR – andere) en communiceert open en professioneel met collega’s, beleidsmakers en lokale partners.
  • Je verbindt, enthousiasmeert en betrekt mensen, werkt graag projectmatig en brengt de praktische organisatie van activiteiten van a tot z tot een goed einde.
  • Je bent flexibel naar werkuren: avond- en weekendwerk schrikken jou niet af, en je plant deze zelfstandig in op basis van de noden van de jongeren, zoals twee openstellingen per week na school en één weekendactiviteit per maand.

Jouw uitvalsbasis is de vestiging van Groep INTRO Grimbergen, maar je werkt vooral vanuit het OverKop-huis in Grimbergen.
