Voor een internationale organisatie actief binnen de voedingsindustrie zijn we op zoek naar een Junior Accountant ter versterking van het finance team in de regio West-Vlaanderen.

Je komt terecht in een stabiele en financieel gezonde onderneming die opereert op internationale schaal, maar waarbij de nuchterheid en de no-nonsense aanpak van de West-Vlaamse bedrijfscultuur duidelijk aanwezig blijven. De lijnen zijn kort, de sfeer is open en collega's spreken elkaar rechtstreeks aan. Je maakt deel uit van een hecht finance team waar samenwerking centraal staat en waar jouw inbreng écht telt. Dit is een groeiomgeving voor wie stap voor stap meer wil betekenen binnen een professionele boekhoudkundige context.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

Als Junior Accountant ondersteun je de dagelijkse boekhoudkundige werking en bouw je geleidelijk meer zelfstandigheid en verantwoordelijkheid op. Je werkt nauw samen met de huidige accountant en leert de processen grondig kennen.

  • Inboeken en controleren van aankoop- en verkoopfacturen
  • Verwerken van bank- en kasverrichtingen en bewaken van de dagelijkse financiële stromen
  • Voorbereiden van btw-aangiftes en zorgen voor een correcte en tijdige indiening
  • Assisteren bij de maand- en jaarafsluitingen, inclusief het aanleveren van de nodige cijfers en reconciliaties
  • Meewerken aan financiële rapporteringen voor intern gebruik en voor de Finance Manager
  • Ondersteunen bij fiscale en boekhoudkundige vragen vanuit de organisatie
  • Actief meedenken over procesoptimalisatie binnen de administratieve en financiële werking

Wat breng je mee?

  • Graduaat of bachelor Boekhouding-Fiscaliteit of Accountancy, of gelijkwaardig door relevante ervaring
  • Starter of iemand met een eerste werkervaring binnen een boekhoudkundige omgeving
  • Analytisch en nauwkeurig: je werkt gestructureerd en verliest geen details uit het oog
  • Communicatief sterk: je durft vragen te stellen en je mening te geven
  • Teamplayer met een gezonde dosis verantwoordelijkheidszin en maturiteit
  • Goede kennis van Excel en bereidheid om te werken met boekhoudpakketten
  • Leergierig en ambitieus: je wil groeien en neemt initiatief om bij te leren
