Zet jij graag de eerste stap in internationale transportplanning?

Voor een groeiende speler binnen internationaal transport in regio Kortrijk zoeken we een Junior Transportplanner. Door verdere groei breidt het planningsteam, dat vandaag uit vier planners bestaat, uit met twee collega's.

Als Junior Transportplanner focus je voornamelijk op transporten richting Frankrijk en Zuid-Europa. Je komt terecht in een jong team en krijgt dagelijks contact met chauffeurs, transportpartners en magazijnverantwoordelijken. Een logistieke opleiding vormt een goede basis; eerdere ervaring als transportplanner is niet noodzakelijk.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • De dagelijkse inbound transportplanning voor Zuid-Europa vormt de kern van jouw functie, met een belangrijke focus op Frankrijk
  • Een vloot van ongeveer 35 eigen chauffeurs plan je samen met externe chauffeurs en vaste onderaannemers
  • Deelpartijen en volle vrachten organiseer je voor zowel import als export en volg je op via de transportplanningsoftware
  • Dagelijks onderhoud je nauw contact met chauffeurs, magazijnverantwoordelijken en Zuid-Europese partners en geef je de nodige instructies door
  • Feedback stroomt via jou naar customer care, terwijl je tekortkomingen signaleert en verbetervoorstellen bespreekt met het hoofd expeditie volgens de geldende IFS-richtlijnen
  • Een logistieke opleiding is aangewezen voor een starter, terwijl een diploma niet absoluut vereist is bij voldoende relevante ervaring
  • Eerdere ervaring als transportplanner is niet noodzakelijk, maar interesse in internationaal transport is belangrijk
  • Een vlotte kennis van Excel is nodig, terwijl ervaring met planningsoftware of Samsara vooraf niet vereist is
  • Goede kennis van Nederlands, Frans en Engels is belangrijk, met vooral een sterke beheersing van Frans; daarnaast ben je communicatief, stressbestendig en analytisch ingesteld
