The posting

Voor een stabiele, internationale onderneming binnen de retail- en winkelinrichtingssector zijn we op zoek naar een Key Account Manager. Je krijgt een sleutelrol in het uitbouwen van nieuwe business én het versterken van bestaande klantenrelaties.

Je begeleidt klanten van het eerste commerciële contact tot de oplevering van het project en werkt daarbij nauw samen met customer service, engineering en productie.

De functie

  • Je genereert nieuwe business binnen de retailsector. Je legt actief contacten, stelt de organisatie voor en gaat in gesprek met klanten over hun noden en uitdagingen.
  • Je treedt op als trusted partner en denkt mee over oplossingen die zowel commercieel als technisch aansluiten bij de klant.
  • Samen met customer service en engineering werk je sterke en doordachte offertes uit en vertaal je klantvragen naar concrete projecten.
  • Je bouwt duurzame klantenrelaties op en zorgt voor een open en professionele communicatie doorheen het volledige traject.
  • Je bent het eerste aanspreekpunt voor nieuwe én bestaande klanten en blijft betrokken tot en met de oplevering en verdere opvolging.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met engineering, customer service en productie om ervoor te zorgen dat projecten correct en tijdig worden uitgevoerd.
  • Je detecteert bijkomende commerciële opportuniteiten en bouwt bestaande klantenrelaties verder uit.
  • Je beschikt over sterke commerciële vaardigheden en hebt ongeveer 5 jaar ervaring als Key Account Manager of in een vergelijkbare B2B-salesfunctie.
  • Ervaring met de verkoop van producten binnen een technische omgeving, retail of winkelinrichting is een pluspunt.
  • Je bent zelfstandig, empathisch, klantgericht en gestructureerd en krijgt energie van resultaten behalen.
  • Je hebt affiniteit met retail en beschikt over voldoende technisch inzicht om je snel in nieuwe producten en toepassingen in te werken.
  • Je bent nieuwsgierig en kunt de meerwaarde van een technische oplossing helder vertalen naar de klant.
  • Je werkt vlot met digitale tools zoals Excel en PowerPoint. Ervaring met een ERP-systeem is mooi meegenomen.
  • Je spreekt vlot Nederlands en Frans en hebt een goede kennis van het Engels.
