Als Lead Project Engineer neem je de technische leiding over complexe machinebouwprojecten. Je werkt aan innovatieve handling- en verpakkingssystemen voor internationale klanten en zorgt ervoor dat techniek, kwaliteit, planning en budget goed op elkaar aansluiten. Je vertaalt klantwensen naar haalbare technische oplossingen, beoordeelt ontwerpen en neemt belangrijke technische beslissingen. Daarbij houd je overzicht over meerdere projecten, bewaak je de voortgang en signaleer je technische risico's voordat deze voor vertraging zorgen. Binnen het engineeringteam ben je het inhoudelijke aanspreekpunt. Je begeleidt Project Engineers en Mechanical Engineers bij complexe vraagstukken en zorgt voor een goede samenwerking tussen mechanica, software en hardware. Daarnaast stem je regelmatig af met productie, installatie en service, zodat ontwerpen ook in de praktijk goed uitvoerbaar zijn. Naast je rol binnen projecten denk je actief mee over verbeteringen in ontwerpen, processen en werkwijzen. Met jouw technische kennis, overzicht en coachende rol draag je bij aan de verdere ontwikkeling van het engineeringteam én aan machines die wereldwijd worden ingezet.
