Onze partner is een internationaal softwarebedrijf met hoofdzetel in West-Vlaanderen. Ondanks hun internationale aanwezigheid met klanten over de hele wereld, werken ze met een 100-tal collega's en behouden ze bewust nog de sterke dynamiek van een kmo.

Ze bouwen al meer dan 40 jaar een toonaangevend softwareplatform voor de label- en verpakkingsindustrie. Vandaag bouwen ze verder aan een volledig cloud-native platform dat wereldwijd gebruikt wordt door productiebedrijven. Je kiest dus bewust voor een organisatie waar productontwikkeling centraal staat en waar je een blijvende impact hebt op een complex softwareproduct.

Als Lead Software Architect neem je mee de technische verantwoordelijkheid over de verdere evolutie van het cloud-native platform. Je combineert een sterke development achtergrond met een brede architecturale visie en helpt complexe technische vraagstukken om te zetten in schaalbare en onderhoudbare oplossingen.

Je werkt nauw samen met developers, technical leads en product management en bewaakt de technische richting van het platform. Je blijft voldoende hands-on om de juiste technische keuzes te maken, maar kijkt tegelijk steeds naar het grotere geheel.

Greep uit het takenpakket

  • Mee uitwerken en bewaken van de software- en applicatiearchitectuur
  • Ontwerpen van cloud-native oplossingen binnen het Azure-ecosysteem
  • Complexe technische vraagstukken vertalen naar duurzame en schaalbare oplossingen
  • De technische kwaliteit en consistentie van het platform bewaken
  • Developers coachen en ondersteunen bij technische uitdagingen
  • Samenwerken met product management en developmentteams om businessnoden technisch te vertalen
  • Actief deelnemen aan sprint reviews en technische afstemmingen
  • Technische beslissingen helder communiceren naar management, met focus op impact en het grotere plaatje
  • Nieuwe technologieën evalueren en waar relevant introduceren, waaronder AI en Agentic Engineering

Profiel

  • Masterdiploma is een absolute vereiste (Burgerlijk Ingenieur, Industrieel Ingenieur, Software Engineering, Toegepaste Informatica of gelijkwaardig)
  • Minstens 7 à 8 jaar ervaring binnen softwareontwikkeling & de positie als architect
  • Sterke achtergrond in cloud-native development
  • Je denkt analytisch en haalt energie uit complexe technische uitdagingen
  • Je neemt ownership, durft beslissingen te nemen en verantwoordelijkheid op te nemen
  • Je communiceert vlot met zowel developmentteams als management en kan technische materie helder samenvatten zonder in onnodige details te vervallen
  • Je kiest bewust voor een productomgeving waar je op lange termijn impact kan maken
