Elke dag werken we aan het onderhoud van gebouwen: schilderwerk, restauratie, houtrotreparatie en het beschermen van gevels tegen weer en wind. Steigers bouwen, hoogwerkers bedienen en laklagen aanbrengen hoort erbij. Op de werkvloer draait iedereen mee: de één verwijdert houtrot, de ander haalt kozijnen los, terwijl weer iemand anders de verf strak aanbrengt. Het team werkt samen om klussen netjes af te ronden. Onze klanten zijn VVE's die hun appartementencomplex laten bijwerken, woningcorporaties die jaarlijks onderhoud plannen, en een brouwerij waar we houten balken restaureren en schilderwerk doen. Soms pakken we oude scholen of kantoorpanden aan. En ja, soms zeggen we: "Sommige mensen gooien met woorden, wij gooien met kwasten. " De Baan Als leerling schilder start je je dag vaak met Bert, onze collega die een kwast ziet als verlengstuk van zijn arm. Eerst contact met de klant: wat moet er gebeuren, welke materialen nemen we mee. Daarna gaan we voorbewerken: kleine herstelwerkzaamheden, schuren, plamuren en kitten. Dan gronden en aflakken, zodat het schilderwerk er netjes en strak uitziet. Je kunt bij ons een BBL opleiding volgen, want we zijn een erkend leerbedrijf, maar ervaring opdoen in de praktijk kan ook gewoon. Het mooie? Je ziet direct het resultaat van je werk. Af en toe krijgen we een klant die vraagt of we de muren "met een roller of gewoon met een bezem" doen, geloof ons, dat gebeurt echt.
