Linux Engineer Vleuten Organisatie & Afdeling Je werkt binnen een grote IT-organisatie die bestaat uit meerdere gespecialiseerde teams. Er wordt ingezet op langetermijnsamenwerkingen bij klanten, waarbij vakmanschap en kwaliteit belangrijker zijn dan snelle oplevering. Wat je kunt verwachten: • Geen traditionele consultancycultuur, maar duurzame teams • Sterke focus op kennis, innovatie en samenwerking • Veel vrijheid in hoe je je werk inricht • Mogelijkheden om te groeien richting senior, lead of architect • Actieve communities rondom techniek en persoonlijke ontwikkeling Hoewel de organisatie groot is, voelt het werken kleinschalig en persoonlijk. Functie Als Automation Engineer speel je een sleutelrol in het automatiseren en standaardiseren van IT-infrastructuren. Je ontwikkelt en implementeert slimme automation-oplossingen met Ansible en Terraform, zodat beheerprocessen efficiënter, betrouwbaarder en beter schaalbaar worden. Je bouwt herbruikbare componenten en automatiseringsworkflows waarmee teams zelfstandig infrastructuur kunnen uitrollen en beheren. Daarnaast zorg je voor een soepele integratie met CI/CD-processen, zodat wijzigingen gecontroleerd en geautomatiseerd kunnen worden getest en uitgerold. In deze rol werk je voor aansprekende organisaties aan moderne infrastructuur- en automatiseringsvraagstukken. Je maakt gebruik van tools zoals Ansible Automation Platform en draagt bij aan onderwerpen als security, secrets management en governance. Daarbij combineer je technische diepgang met een praktische instelling: je ontwikkelt zelf oplossingen, ondersteunt teams bij de adoptie van automation en deelt actief je kennis met collega's en klanten. Functie eisen Wij zoeken iemand met de volgende punten: - Minimaal 3 jaar aantoonbare ervaring met infrastructure automation, bijvoorbeeld met Ansible en Terraform; - Praktische ervaring met AI-ondersteunde ontwikkeltools, zoals Ansible Lightspeed, GitHub Copilot, ...
