Als Continuous Improvement Engineer maak je deel uit van een multinational in de regio Deinze. Deze organisatie is actief binnen de distributie van technische onderdelen en werkt vanuit een hypermoderne, sterk geautomatiseerde logistieke omgeving.

Met een wereldwijd netwerk en een uitgebreide logistieke operatie staan betrouwbare processen, operationele efficiëntie en dagelijkse verbetering centraal. Als Continuous Improvement Engineer draag je rechtstreeks bij aan veiligere, vlottere en efficiëntere logistieke processen.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Als Continuous Improvement Engineer zal je een deel van je tijd doorbrengen op de werkvloer om logistieke processen te observeren en diverse verbeterkansen te identificeren
  • Samen met operatoren en teamleaders analyseer je knelpunten rond veiligheid, kwaliteit, levering en efficiëntie en werk je praktische oplossingen uit
  • Je volgt verbeteracties actief op zodat de nieuwe implementaties ook duurzaam deel uitmaken van de dagelijkse logistieke werking
  • Daarnaast zal je diverse trainingssessies organiseren om nieuwe oplossingen te implementeren en jouw collega's hierbij te coachen
  • Tot slot zal je verschillende verbeterprojecten leiden van opstart tot implementatie en gebruik je operationele data om onderbouwde beslissingen te nemen
  • Je bezit een bachelor of masterdiploma binnen logistiek of supply chain (handelsingenieur, supply chain management..)
  • Minstens 3 jaar relevante werkervaring binnen een Continuous Improvement rol is een must
  • Project- en people management zijn jou op het lijf geschreven, ervaring in een leidinggevende rol is mooi meegenomen
  • Je spreekt vloeiend Nederlands en Frans. Engels is een plus
