Onze klant is een internationale, sterk groeiende en dynamische speler binnen de voedingsindustrie. Ter versterking van de site in de regio rond Kuurne zijn wij op zoek naar een gedreven en mensgerichte Logistics Manager. In deze sleutelrol ben jij de drijvende kracht achter de totale logistieke keten van de productiesite en zorg je voor een continue, veilige en efficiënte goederenstroom.

Hoe zal jouw takenpakket eruit zien?

  • Je stuurt en coacht de logistieke teams aan binnen inbound, outbound, intern transport, magazijnbeheer en site-toegang. Je zorgt voor een sterke teamgeest en effectieve communicatie.
  • Je bent zichtbaar aanwezig in de operatie, houdt de vinger aan de pols en stimuleert samenwerking over afdelingen heen.
  • Je waarborgt de 24/7 goederenstroom van grondstoffen, halffabricaten en afgewerkte producten.
  • Je bent het aanspreekpunt voor interne afdelingen (productie, planning, aankoop, supply chain) en beheert de relaties en communicatie met externe magazijnen en logistieke partners.
  • Je beheert het rollend materieel, stelt de logistieke budgetten op en bewaakt de afdelings-KPI's op het vlak van veiligheid, kwaliteit en efficiëntie.
  • Je analyseert bestaande processen, signaleert knelpunten en realiseert samen met de betrokken teams duurzame procesverbeteringen.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

  • Je beschikt over een Bachelor- of Masterdiploma en hebt reeds relevante ervaring in een leidinggevende logistieke rol. Ervaring binnen de voedingssector is een sterke troef.
  • Je combineert een analytische, gestructureerde aanpak met een hands-on mentaliteit. Je bent pragmatisch en denkt altijd in oplossingen.
  • Je beschikt over uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden en spreekt vlot Nederlands, Frans en Engels. Je beweegt je met gemak tussen de werkvloer en het managementteam.
  • Je bent een verbindende teamspeler die mensen kan motiveren, overtuigen en meenemen in veranderingsprocessen.
  • Je werkt vlot met moderne IT-systemen. Kennis van SAP en/of een WMS/MES-pakket is een pluspunt.
