Wie zijn wij?

Antwerp Stone Terminal N.V. is van origine een Nederlands familiebedrijf. Het is gelegen in de Antwerpse haven. Het terrein is ongeveer zes hectare groot, er wordt op meerdere grote installaties diverse soorten en maten steenslag geproduceerd. De markten die wij bedienen zijn onder andere de wegen- en spoorwegbouw en betonindustrie.

Wij werken in een hecht team van ongeveer 10 personen.

Wegens de groei van onze werkzaamheden zijn wij op zoek naar een

Shovel Machinist / Wiellader

(40+ uur per week in een drieploegendienst).

Wat ga je doen?

  • Als machinist verplaats jij met een trax / shovel ( CAT 988 of 980) onze producten. Je laadt een schip of vrachtauto, of vult onze breek- en zeef installaties. Je houdt hierbij het te laden gewicht in het oog en controleert de steenslag op afwijkingen.
  • Je bent zuinig op het materiaal waar je mee werkt en houdt dit in goede staat. Je inspecteert de shovel en meldt schade, je houdt het materieel schoon van binnen en buiten. Oliepeil, koelvloeistof niveau checken en tanken doe je regelmatig

BHHAM

Als Shovel machinist / Wiellader heb jij:

  • Aantoonbare werkervaring op de trax / shovel (CAT 988 is een pré)
  • Bij voorkeur een shovel – certificaat
  • Ervaring in asfalt / beton industrie en /of spoorwegbouw is een pré
  • Kennis van en ervaring met klein onderhoud van shovels
  • Goede communicatieve vaardigheden
  • De wil om in ploegen te werken, en overuren te maken
  • In het bezit van eigen vervoer, AST niet per openbaar vervoer bereikbaar
