Onze klant is een gevestigde familiale onderneming binnen de bouwsector die al sinds 1960 actief is. Wat ruim 67 jaar geleden begon met een beperkt assortiment bouwmaterialen, groeide doorheen verschillende generaties uit tot een gespecialiseerde leverancier voor onder andere aannemers, dakwerkers en verandabouwers.

Vandaag staat ondertussen de vierde generatie klaar binnen het familiebedrijf. Naast een ruim assortiment beschikt de onderneming over een grote eigen voorraad, waardoor klanten snel geholpen kunnen worden. Ook maatwerk maakt deel uit van de dienstverlening, met onder meer het zagen en plooien van verschillende materialen.

Daarnaast gebeuren leveringen met een eigen leverdienst, waardoor het bedrijf het volledige traject van bestelling tot levering zoveel mogelijk zelf in handen houdt. Voor het magazijn betekent dit een gevarieerde omgeving waar klantenbediening, voorraadbeheer en logistiek dagelijks samenkomen.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Een belangrijk onderdeel van jouw werk is het klaarzetten van bestellingen voor klanten die hun materialen komen afhalen of voor bestellingen die geleverd worden.
  • Dagelijks zorg je ervoor dat de voorraad wordt aangevuld en materialen op de juiste plaats terechtkomen.
  • Ook het laden en lossen van vrachtwagens behoort tot jouw verantwoordelijkheden binnen het magazijn.
  • Naast het logistieke werk sta je regelmatig in contact met klanten en help je hen op een vriendelijke en praktische manier verder.
  • Een praktische ingesteldheid is belangrijk: fysiek werk schrikt je niet af en orde en structuur in het magazijn vind je vanzelfsprekend.
  • Eerdere magazijnervaring wordt in de oorspronkelijke vacature niet als vereiste opgegeven; vooral een leergierige en behulpzame houding en de wil om de handen uit de mouwen te steken zijn belangrijk.
  • Op vlak van talen, opleiding, heftruckattest en andere attesten worden door het bedrijf geen specifieke vereisten vermeld. Veilig en zorgvuldig werken binnen het magazijn spreekt uiteraard voor zich.
