The posting

For one of our clients based in Brussels, we are looking for a young developer who would be interested to join a team of development mainframe. For this position, we are also looking for someone interested by a long-term commitment.

Your profile :

  • Holder of a higher degree in computer science or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in procedural programming languages such as C, Cobol, or PL/1.
  • Familiarity with relational database concepts (SQL, DB2, ...)
  • Results-oriented with a focus on internal/external customer satisfaction
  • Keeping up with the evolution of programming languages used
  • Analytical and possessing good critical thinking skills
  • Flexible, stress-resistant, proactive, good team player
  • Independent, organized, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously with a strong sense of prioritization
  • Good knowledge of the technical English and French !!!
  • Knowledge of the following technologies will be an asset : • Java • z/OS environment • TWS • CICS • SOA/ESB • JCL • Web Services development
