Of het nu gaat om tunnels, railinfrastructuur, civiele kunstwerken of waterbouwkundige objecten. Jij bepaalt wat er nodig is om deze assets optimaal te laten functioneren. Zo leg jij de basis voor een betrouwbare, veilige en toekomstbestendige infrastructuur. In jouw rol als Maintenance Engineer ben jij de architect achter slimme onderhoudsstrategieën. Je brengt nauwkeurig in kaart wat een asset nodig heeft om optimaal te blijven presteren. Op basis van objectstructuren, technische vereisten en de prestatie-eisen uit het contract stel je een integraal (meerjaren)onderhoudsplan op. Dit plan bevat concrete, uitvoerbare onderhoudsmaatregelen die niet alleen aansluiten op de technische kenmerken van de asset, maar ook volledig afgestemd zijn op de afspraken met de opdrachtgever. Je stopt echter niet bij plannen maken. Je onderzoekt continu of het voorgestelde en uitgevoerde onderhoud ook daadwerkelijk bijdraagt aan de prestaties, betrouwbaarheid en beschikbaarheid van de assets. Door de onderhoudskwaliteit te toetsen aan vooraf gestelde eisen en prestaties te analyseren, weet jij exact waar bijsturing nodig is. Presteert een asset niet naar verwachting? Dan duik jij de data in om te achterhalen waarom. Vanuit die inzichten ontwikkel je gerichte verbetervoorstellen. Of het nu gaat om slimmere inzet van middelen en mensen, het introduceren van nieuwe technieken of het aanpassen van werkwijzen.
