Voor een internationaal gerenommeerde speler uit regio Ieper zijn we op zoek naar een Maintenance & Improvement Engineer. Deze onderneming behoort wereldwijd tot de absolute top binnen haar niche en combineert hoogtechnologische productie met een moderne en nette werkomgeving. Dankzij een sterke groeiambitie blijven ze investeren in innovatieve machines, nieuwe installaties en de verdere uitbouw van hun productieafdelingen.

In deze rol krijg je de verantwoordelijkheid over meerdere productieafdelingen, waaronder een CNC-omgeving en gespecialiseerde productielijnen. Je komt terecht in een functie met een mooie mix van technische analyse, coaching, optimalisatie en projectwerk, waarbij je nauw samenwerkt met techniekers, productie en externe partners.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Als onderhoudsingenieur neem je een centrale rol op binnen het onderhouds- en verbeteringsbeleid van verschillende productieafdelingen
  • Daarnaast volg je de performantie en betrouwbaarheid van het machinepark nauwgezet op en stuur je bij waar nodig om stilstanden te beperken
  • Verder fungeer je als klankbord en coach voor de onderhoudstechniekers, waarbij je hen ondersteunt bij technische uitdagingen en complexe storingen
  • Om de efficiëntie verder te verhogen, analyseer je processen en werk je structurele verbeteringen uit op vlak van onderhoud, veiligheid en kwaliteit
  • Bovendien kaart je veiligheids- en kwaliteitsproblemen proactief aan en zet je concrete acties op om risico's te beperken
  • Naast de dagelijkse optimalisaties werk je mee aan diverse investerings- en verbeterprojecten binnen de productieomgeving
  • Hierbij onderhoud je contacten met leveranciers, voer je marktanalyses uit en ondersteun je de selectie van nieuwe technologieën en installaties
  • Verder volg je de opbouw, testing, afstelling en opstart van nieuwe machines en systemen op in samenwerking met externe partners
  • Tot slot bouw je actief mee aan de verdere professionalisering van de onderhoudsorganisatie en krijg je de kans om door te groeien naar een rol met nog meer verantwoordelijkheid door een naderende pensionering van een gewaardeerde collega
  • Je behaalde minstens een Masterdiploma in Elektromechanica, Werktuigkunde, Industriële Wetenschappen of een andere technische ingenieursrichting
  • Bovendien heb je een eerste ervaring binnen onderhoud, productie of engineering is mooi meegenomen, maar ook ambitieuze starters komen in aanmerking
  • Je bent communicatief sterk en voelt je comfortabel in een coachende rol richting techniekers en productie
  • Daarnaast combineer je een analytische mindset met een pragmatische aanpak op de werkvloer
  • Je werkt graag dicht bij de productieomgeving, maar haalt evenveel energie uit overleg, analyse en projectwerk
