Sinds 1964 zijn we een betrouwbare partner van de Belgische marine, met een team van 130 scheepswerktuigkundigen en maritieme specialisten. Vanuit Zeebrugge verzorgen we dagelijks onderhoud, geplande revisies en dringende reparaties voor de Belgische en Nederlandse marinevloten, met speciale aandacht voor mijnenjagers. Onze technici worden ook ingezet in binnen- en buitenland en passen zich aan aan vlootoperaties wereldwijd. Wij zijn op zoek naar een Maritiem Technieker Pompen & Mechanische Systemen, om het team op onze site in Zeebrugge te versterken!

Key Responsibilities

Als Maritiem Technieker Pompen & Mechanische Systemen ben je verantwoordelijk voor het onderhoud, de revisie en de herstellingen van pompen, afsluiters en aanverwante mechanische installaties aan boord van de schepen van de Belgische Marine en in onze werkplaatsen op de Marinebasis in Zeebrugge.

Je werkt dagelijks aan kritische systemen die rechtstreeks in contact staan met zeewater en levert zo een belangrijke bijdrage aan de veiligheid, betrouwbaarheid en operationele beschikbaarheid van de vloot.

  • Je demonteert, inspecteert en reviseert diverse maritieme pompen, waaronder ballast-, koelwater-, lens- en brandbluspompen.
  • Je onderhoudt en reviseert afsluiters, ventielen en andere maritieme appendages.
  • Je vervangt mechanische seals, lagers, dichtingen en andere slijtageonderdelen.
  • Je inspecteert systemen op corrosie, slijtage en cavitatie en voert de nodige corrigerende werkzaamheden uit.
  • Je vervangt opofferingsanodes (zinkanodes) en andere corrosiewerende componenten.
  • Je stelt diagnoses bij mechanische defecten en voert snel en efficiënt herstellingen uit aan boord van schepen.
  • Je draagt bij aan het beperken van operationele stilstand en het verhogen van de beschikbaarheid van de vloot.
  • Je lijnt pomp-motorcombinaties mechanisch en/of met laser uit na revisie.
  • Je voert functionele testen en controles uit en verifieert druk, debiet en lekdichtheid na onderhouds- en revisiewerkzaamheden.
  • Je rapporteert de uitgevoerde werkzaamheden correct en volledig.
  • Je werkt volgens de geldende veiligheids-, kwaliteits- en milieunormen.
  • Je draagt actief bij aan de continue verbetering van onderhoudsprocessen en technische prestaties.
  • TSO-diploma Elektromechanica, Mechanica of gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
  • Ervaring binnen de maritieme sector, scheepsreparatie, industriële mechanica of pomptechniek is een sterke troef.
  • Ervaring met de revisie van pompen, afsluiters of ander rotating equipment is een pluspunt.
  • Sterke mechanische basiskennis.
  • Kennis van lagers, mechanische seals, piping-systemen, pompen en afsluiters.
  • Je kan technische tekeningen en schema's lezen en interpreteren.
  • Ervaring met meet- en uitlijnapparatuur is een meerwaarde.
  • Probleemoplossend en analytisch ingesteld.
  • Praktische en hands-on mentaliteit.
  • Sterk verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel en oog voor kwaliteit.
  • Teamspeler die graag samenwerkt in een technische omgeving.
  • Veiligheidsbewust en nauwkeurig.
  • Flexibel en bereid om werkzaamheden aan boord van schepen uit te voeren.
