Voor een internationaal actieve technische organisatie in de regio Tielt zoeken we een ervaren Mechanical Design Engineer die mee bouwt aan de ontwikkeling van complexe industriële machines en systemen.

Je komt terecht in een sterk geautomatiseerde en technisch vooruitstrevende omgeving waar engineering, innovatie en maakbaarheid centraal staan. Vanuit België worden klantspecifieke oplossingen ontwikkeld voor internationale toepassingen.

In deze functie krijg je een belangrijke rol binnen het mechanisch ontwerp en volg je jouw ontwerpen mee op van eerste technische uitwerking tot prototype, testing en uiteindelijke productie.

Wat Ga Je Doen?

  • Je ontwerpt en ontwikkelt mechanische onderdelen, constructies en samenstellingen voor complexe industriële machines en installaties.
  • Je vertaalt technische concepten naar gedetailleerde 3D-modellen, productietekeningen en technische documentatie.
  • Je houdt tijdens het ontwerp rekening met functionaliteit, maakbaarheid, betrouwbaarheid en kostenefficiëntie.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met productie, aankoop, leveranciers en andere engineeringdisciplines.
  • Je volgt jouw ontwerpen technisch op tijdens prototypebouw, assemblage, testing en validatie.
  • Je analyseert bestaande ontwerpen en zoekt naar mogelijkheden om prestaties, levensduur en efficiëntie verder te verbeteren.
  • Je denkt actief mee over materiaalkeuzes, toleranties, verbindingstechnieken en mechanische dimensionering.
  • Je ondersteunt productie en leveranciers bij technische vragen rond jouw ontwerpen.
  • Je bewaakt de technische kwaliteit van jouw dossiers en zorgt ervoor dat ontwerpen correct kunnen worden geproduceerd en gemonteerd.
  • Je werkt mee aan verdere standaardisatie en optimalisatie binnen de engineeringafdeling.

Wie Ben Je?

  • Je beschikt over een master in Elektromechanica, Mechanisch Ontwerp, Industrieel Productontwerp of een vergelijkbare technische richting.
  • Je hebt minstens enkele jaren relevante ervaring binnen mechanisch ontwerp, machinebouw of systeemengineering.
  • Je beschikt over een sterke mechanische basis en begrijpt hoe machines en technische constructies opgebouwd worden.
  • Je hebt ervaring met een 3D-CAD-pakket, zoals Inventor, SolidWorks of een vergelijkbaar systeem.
  • Je hebt kennis van materiaalkeuze, toleranties, passing en mechanische dimensionering.
  • Ervaring met sterkteberekeningen en technische validatie is een sterke troef.
  • Je denkt praktisch en houdt tijdens het ontwerpen rekening met productie, montage en onderhoud.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig en gestructureerd, maar kunt tegelijk pragmatisch omgaan met technische uitdagingen.
  • Je communiceert vlot met collega-engineers, productie, leveranciers en externe partners.
  • Je beschikt over een goede kennis van het Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
