En vind jij het leuk om een ontwerp niet alleen functioneel en robuust te maken, maar ook veilig, maakbaar en mooi? Dan zijn wij op zoek naar jou! Taken en verantwoordelijkheden Je werkt meestal aan projecten voor klanten, altijd met een innovatief karakter. Soms vraagt een klant om een specifieke machine of automatiseringsoplossing, maar het kan ook voorkomen dat de klant juist behoefte heeft aan een product. Dat vraagt om een andere manier van werken, waarbij productontwikkeling, systematisch ontwerpen, testen, documenteren en doorontwikkelen een grotere rol spelen. Samen met een team van vier Mechanical Engineers los je alle werktuigbouwkundige vraagstukken binnen Robotics & Vision op. Soms is de mechanische component binnen een project relatief klein en werk je zelfstandig aan jouw deel van de oplossing. In de meeste gevallen werk je echter in een multidisciplinair projectteam, waarin verschillende vakgebieden samenwerken om tot een betrouwbaar eindresultaat te komen. Je stelt samen met de klant en het projectteam de requirements op en vertaalt deze naar een doordacht mechanisch ontwerp. Daarbij houd je rekening met functionaliteit, veiligheid, sterkte, maakbaarheid, onderhoudbaarheid en uitstraling. Je werkt gestructureerd volgens een systematische ontwerpaanpak en zorgt dat keuzes, wijzigingen en versies goed worden vastgelegd. Ervaring met versiebeheer, bij voorkeur in combinatie met softwareontwikkeling of multidisciplinaire productontwikkeling, is daarbij belangrijk. Wat ga je doen?
