Als Mechanical Engineer Energie ben jij de technische specialist die zorgt dat elektrische infrastructuurprojecten niet alleen elektrisch, maar ook mechanisch perfect worden uitgevoerd. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerpen, engineeren en realiseren van de mechanische aspecten van hoogspanning- en middenspanningsinstallaties. Je werkt nauw samen met electrical engineers, projectleiders en externe partijen om tot optimale technische oplossingen te komen. Jouw werk draagt direct bij aan de energietransitie en de verduurzaming van Nederland. In deze veelzijdige functie ligt jouw focus op het volgende: - Het ontwerpen en engineeren van mechanische constructies voor transformatorstations, schakelstations en hoogspanningsinfrastructuur; - Het uitvoeren van sterkte- en stabiliteitsberekeningen voor mechanische componenten en constructies; - Het opstellen van technische specificaties en bestek voor mechanische installaties en componenten; - Het begeleiden van de realisatiefase en het uitvoeren van technische controles op de bouwplaats; - Het adviseren van klanten over mechanische vraagstukken en het meedenken in optimalisaties; - Het coördineren met leveranciers en aannemers over mechanische aspecten van projecten; - Het uitvoeren van inspecties en het opstellen van rapportages over de mechanische staat van installaties.

Naast deze kerntaken krijg je volop ruimte om je verder te ontwikkelen. De organisatie biedt concrete doorgroeimogelijkheden naar bijvoorbeeld de rol van senior engineer, specialist in een specifiek technisch vakgebied of projectleider. Je kunt je specialiseren in hoogspanningsconstructies, innovatieve bouwmethoden of complexe netberekeningen. Daarnaast krijg je de kans om cursussen en trainingen te volgen op het gebied van nieuwe technologieën en ontwikkelingen in de energiesector.
