Over de functie

Als Mechanic bij ons ben je de spil in onze werkplaats. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het onderhoud en de herstelling van voertuigen en banden om een veilige en efficiënte werking te garanderen. Je biedt onze klanten een kwalitatieve dienstverlening, volgt technische richtlijnen en veiligheidsvoorschriften strikt op, en werkt nauw samen met je collega's en de Branch Manager.

Jouw takenpakket:

  • Voorbereiding & Controle: Je bereidt de werkplek en het voertuig voor aan de hand van de werkfiche. Je controleert het voertuig grondig in het kader van het onderhoud.
  • Onderhoud & Herstellingen: Je voert herstellingen, vervangingen en sneldienstinterventies uit. Daarnaast monteer je eenvoudige toebehoren en maak je voertuigen klaar voor de technische keuring.
  • Technisch werk: Je past onderdelen aan of bewerkt ze waar nodig. Je rapporteert uitgevoerde werkzaamheden en eventueel vastgestelde gebreken.
  • Orde & Veiligheid: Je past de veiligheids- en milieuregels correct toe. Je ruimt de werkplek op en onderhoudt het gereedschap en de apparatuur. Afval sorteer en verwijder je volgens de richtlijnen.
  • Klant & Team: Je staat klanten vriendelijk en professioneel te woord en werkt nauw samen met je collega's om de efficiëntie te verhogen.

Profiel

Wie zoeken wij?

  • Opleiding & Ervaring: Je hebt een diploma automechanica of gelijkwaardige ervaring.
  • Kennis: Je beschikt over een goed technisch en mechanisch inzicht. Kennis van voertuigtechniek, bandenservice (spanning, profieldiepte, uitlijning) en basiskennis van elektronische systemen en diagnoseprocedures is een absolute plus.
  • Attitude & Vaardigheden: Je werkt nauwkeurig en efficiënt, ook onder tijdsdruk. Je bent proactief, leergierig, fysiek fit en denkt oplossingsgericht.
  • Certificaten: Je bent in het bezit van een Rijbewijs B.
  • Certificaten zoals een attest voor hefbrugbediening, Airco-certificaat en/of HEV 2 (hybride/elektrische voertuigen) zijn sterke troeven.
