Als Medewerker Technische Dienst bij onze klant in Wijnegem ben je de spil tussen schip en kantoor.

Wat zijn jouw taken?

  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het monitoren van het onderhoud van de schepen (ook de special survey’s om de 5 jaar), alsook voor het organiseren en opvolgen van reparaties.
  • Het uitvoeren van scheepsbezoeken waarbij je gedetailleerde rapporten over de technische en cosmetische staat van het schip maakt. Tijdens deze bezoeken spreek je met de gehele bemanning, van leerling matroos tot kapitein. Dit draagt bij aan een positieve werksfeer.
  • Je schakelt met de juiste afdelingen op kantoor over de actiepunten die voortvloeien uit de scheepsbezoeken.
  • Je bewaakt de naleving van alle veiligheidsnormen en procedures en zorgt voor een veilige werkomgeving aan boord.
  • Het uitvoeren van administratieve taken zoals facturatiecontrole.
  • Je voert Pre-BIQ’s (Barge Inspection Questionnaire) uit en begeleidt de volledige BIQ-inspecties.
  • Je rapporteert dagelijks aan de fleetmanager (manager technische dienst) over de voortgang van jouw werkzaamheden.
  • Indien je kan & wil varen: meevaren voor beoordelingsdoeleinden of in geval van nood.

Profiel

  • Je kan je vlot uitdrukken in het Nederlands, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk. Daarnaast beheers je de Engelse en Duitse taal mondeling om communicatie met diverse partijen op te kunnen pikken.
  • Je kent het reilen en zeilen op een (binnen)schip op technisch vlak en veiligheid.
  • Je deinst niet terug voor veranderingen en pakt problemen oplossingsgericht aan. Hierbij hou je rekening met verschillende schakels. Je bent dan ook een echte communicator, waardoor een goede relatie opbouwen met zowel bemanning als externe leveranciers geen enkel probleem is voor jou.
  • Je werkt zowel graag zelfstandig en weet van aanpakken, maar hecht ook belang aan een team rondom jou waarmee je kan sparren.
  • Indien meevaren: Je haalt energie uit soms eens in te springen door mee te varen met onze schepen.
  • Hoewel we werken in dagdienst, wordt er van je verwacht dat je flexibel bent en snel kunt schakelen in geval van een incident
