Op de afdeling Audiologie verricht je psychosociale diagnostiek en begeleid je patiënten en/ of ouders van kinderen met diverse gehoorproblemen. De begeleiding is gericht op een zo goed mogelijke inpassing van de gehoorbeperking in het dagelijks leven. De hulpverlening omvat onder meer: - Begeleiding bij verwerking en acceptatie van de gevolgen van doofheid, slechthorendheid en tinnitus; - Ondersteuning bij communicatieproblemen thuis, op school of op het werk - Verhelderen van de interactie tussen persoonlijkheid en slechthorendheid; - Geven van informatie over onder meer voorzieningen, sociale wetgeving, dagverblijven en scholen. Je betrekt naast de patiënt ook de partner of andere familieleden/verwanten bij de hulpverlening. Je participeert actief in multidisciplinaire behandelteams en draagt bij aan de multidisciplinaire diagnostiek. Tevens draag je bij aan de ontwikkeling van de psychosociale zorg op de afdeling en aan het afdelingsbeleid. Je onderhoudt contacten met externe instanties. Je bent betrokken bij de scholing van onder andere arts-assistenten en je biedt andere professionele hulpverleners consultatie met betrekking tot jouw expertisegebieden. Wij vragen allround inzet op alle expertisegebieden: gehoor volwassenen, gehoor kinderen, tinnitus en CI (cochleaire Implantatie). Je dagelijkse werkzaamheden bestaan uit: - Spreekuren voorbereiden en draaien - Rapportage uitwerken - Overleggen met andere behandelaren over gezamenlijke patiënten - Bijwonen van MDO's - Betrokken zijn bij verschillende onderdelen op het gebied van onderwijs - Ondersteuning bieden aan collega's/andere disciplines aangaande psychosociale vraagstukken Wat neem je mee? ...
