Als Meewerkende Chef Afwerking ben je verantwoordelijk voor de laatste fase van het productieproces. Je combineert meewerken op de werkvloer met het aansturen van een team van vier à vijf medewerkers. Samen zorgen je ervoor dat elk stuk correct wordt afgewerkt en in perfecte staat vertrekt naar de werf.

Je bewaakt de kwaliteit van de stukken die uit eerdere productiestappen komen, detecteert mogelijke fouten en voert waar nodig herstellingen of bijwerkingen uit. Daarnaast zorg je ervoor dat de stukken correct worden klaargezet en vernist, met aandacht voor het juiste product, het juiste aantal lagen en het onderscheid tussen zicht- en niet-zichtwerk.

Wanneer een project metalen verbindingen vereist, lees en interpreteer je de stuktekeningen en montageplannen en controleer je of de juiste verbindingen en bevestigingsmaterialen correct worden toegepast. Je organiseert ook het klaarzetten van de stukken voor transport, stelt pakketten samen volgens leveringsbon en afroepvolgorde en houdt toezicht op een veilige laad- en loszone, met bijzondere aandacht voor lange en zware stukken.

Tot slot superviseer je het laden van de vrachtwagens met rolbruggen en controleer je of alle stukken correct mee zijn op transport.

  • Je hebt ervaring in productie, afwerking of houtbewerking en voelt je thuis in een technische werkomgeving.
  • Je neemt graag verantwoordelijkheid en hebt de natuurlijke reflex om collega’s te begeleiden en aan te sturen op de werkvloer.
  • Je beschikt over technisch inzicht, kan plannen lezen en werkt nauwkeurig met oog voor kwaliteit en veiligheid.
  • Je bent praktisch ingesteld, communicatief en houdt ervan om overzicht te bewaren in een dynamische productieomgeving.
  • Ervaring met zware of lange constructiestukken is een pluspunt.
