Als muziektherapeut breng jij elke dag klank, verbinding en beleving in het leven van onze residenten. In ons woonzorgcentrum zet je muziek doelgericht in om het welzijn en de levenskwaliteit van ouderen te versterken – van rust en troost tot activering en plezier.

Met jouw warme persoonlijkheid en mensgerichte aanpak creëer je een veilige omgeving waarin bewoners zich gehoord en begrepen voelen, zelfs wanneer woorden tekortschieten. Je weet hoe muziek herinneringen kan oproepen, emoties kan verzachten en mensen opnieuw met elkaar kan verbinden.

Jouw dag krijgt vorm door:

  • begeleiden van inspirerende individuele en groepssessies muziektherapie;
  • inzetten van muziek om expressie, communicatie en interactie te stimuleren;
  • afstemmen van je sessies op de unieke noden, mogelijkheden en levensverhalen van bewoners;
  • observeren en opvolgen van het welbevinden en de evolutie van residenten;
  • zorgvuldig bijhouden van de nodige verslaggeving.

Als muziektherapeut maak je deel uit van een warm en multidisciplinair team waarin samenwerking centraal staat. Je werkt nauw samen met zorgkundigen, verpleegkundigen en andere therapeuten, en draagt actief bij aan een holistische zorgaanpak.

Samen zorgen we ervoor dat elke dag niet alleen zorgzaam, maar ook betekenisvol klinkt.

Als muziektherapeut draag je bij aan het emotioneel, sociaal en cognitief welzijn van onze residenten door muziek doelgericht in te zetten als therapeutisch middel. Samen met je collega’s zorg jij voor een warme, stimulerende leefomgeving waarin bewoners zich kunnen uiten, verbinden en genieten van betekenisvolle momenten.

Daarnaast staan de kwaliteiten empathie, creativiteit en observatievermogen binnen jouw functie centraal. Die heb je nodig om in te spelen op de unieke noden van elke bewoner en om muziektherapie op maat aan te bieden.

Verder vragen wij:

  • een diploma muziektherapie of een gelijkwaardige therapeutische opleiding;
  • bij voorkeur ervaring met ouderen of binnen de ouderenzorg;
  • sterke muzikale vaardigheden (zang, instrument, improvisatie);
  • het vermogen om zelfstandig te werken en therapieën af te stemmen op individuele zorgplannen.
