Je komt terecht bij een gevestigde Belgische onderneming die al meer dan 60 jaar actief is en vandaag ongeveer 300 medewerkers telt. Vanuit verschillende vestigingen ondersteunt het bedrijf professionele klanten met een breed assortiment aan producten en logistieke dienstverlening.

De organisatie is actief binnen verschillende markten, waaronder papier en print, visuele communicatie, kantoorbenodigdheden, verpakkingen en bouwgerelateerde toepassingen. Achter die brede activiteit staat een sterk uitgebouwde logistieke werking die ervoor zorgt dat goederen dagelijks correct op hun bestemming terechtkomen.

Binnen het bedrijf spelen transport, magazijn en distributie dan ook een centrale rol. Als chauffeur maak je deel uit van deze logistieke keten en zorg je ervoor dat de verschillende depots tijdig worden bevoorraad.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Samen met de andere nachtchauffeurs verzorg je volgens een vast roterend schema de avond- en nachtritten tussen verschillende depots
  • Naast het rijden neem je ook het laden en lossen van de goederen op jou bij vertrek en aankomst
  • Tijdens iedere rit staan veiligheid, stiptheid en een correcte levering centraal
  • Ook het zorgvuldig gebruiken en proper houden van de vrachtwagen behoort tot jouw verantwoordelijkheid
  • Dankzij een vooraf bepaalde nachtplanning over twee weken weet je duidelijk wanneer en volgens welk schema je werkt
  • Een geldig rijbewijs CE, Code 95 en ADR-attest colli zijn noodzakelijk om de functie correct en veilig uit te voeren waarbij eerdere ervaring als chauffeur een duidelijke meerwaarde vormt
  • Veilig en zelfstandig werken spreekt voor zich waarbij je verantwoordelijk en nauwkeurig omspringt met de vrachtwagen, goederen en geldende veiligheidsvoorschriften
  • Een vlotte kennis van het Nederlands is vereist aangevuld met noties Frans en werken binnen een vast nachtregime vormt voor jou geen probleem
