Als nachtverpleegkundige bij WZC Aurora in Tongeren ben jij het vertrouwde aanspreekpunt wanneer de rust in huis neerdaalt. Terwijl de wereld vertraagt, zorg jij ervoor dat bewoners zich ook ’s nachts veilig, comfortabel en goed omringd voelen. Je werkt zelfstandig en met verantwoordelijkheidszin, maar maakt tegelijk deel uit van een hecht team waarin samenwerking en ondersteuning centraal staan.

Dankzij jouw oplettendheid merk je veranderingen bij bewoners snel op en weet je gepast te handelen wanneer nodig. Met jouw warme aanpak bied je niet alleen kwaliteitsvolle zorg, maar ook rust en vertrouwen tijdens de nacht.

Jouw taken tijdens de nachtshift:

  • uitvoeren van verpleegkundige handelingen volgens de geldende richtlijnen, met aandacht voor comfort, rust en welzijn;
  • opvolgen van zorgplannen en tijdig signaleren van bijzonderheden of veranderingen;
  • observeren van bewoners en correct rapporteren aan het dagteam voor een vlotte overdracht;
  • ondersteunen van zorgkundigen en fungeren als aanspreekpunt tijdens de nacht;
  • contact onderhouden met de arts van wacht en adequaat handelen in onverwachte situaties;
  • zorgen voor een correcte administratie en overdracht zodat collega’s het werk naadloos kunnen verderzetten.

Als nachtverpleegkundige maak jij elke dag een waardevol verschil voor onze bewoners. Met jouw deskundigheid, warme aanpak en oprechte betrokkenheid bied je zorg op maat en draag je bij aan een veilige en vertrouwde leefomgeving. Je voert verpleegkundige handelingen uit, denkt actief mee over de zorgplanning en volgt zorgtrajecten nauwkeurig op.

Samen met je collega’s en zorgkundigen zet je in op kwaliteitsvolle, persoonsgerichte zorg waarbij respect, aandacht en een sterke band met bewoners en hun familie centraal staan. Je werkt zelfstandig en neemt verantwoordelijkheid op, maar haalt ook energie uit samenwerken binnen een hecht team.

Dankzij jouw klinisch inzicht en heldere communicatie weet je prioriteiten te stellen en correct te handelen, ook in uitdagende of drukke situaties. Je bent een betrouwbaar aanspreekpunt voor bewoners, familieleden en collega’s en draagt mee bij aan een warme sfeer binnen het woonzorgcentrum.

Daarnaast vinden we het belangrijk dat je:

  • beschikt over een diploma professionele bachelor verpleegkunde of HBO5 verpleegkunde;
  • ervaring hebt in de ouderenzorg (een pluspunt, maar zeker geen vereiste);
  • sterk bent in het opvolgen van zorgplannen, rapporteren en multidisciplinair samenwerken;
  • vlot communiceert in het Nederlands;
  • zelfstandig kan werken, stressbestendig is en flexibel inspeelt op verschillende situaties.
