Als steenkapper werk je mee aan het vervaardigen en plaatsen van interieurs uit natuursteen en andere hoogwaardige materialen.

Je takenpakket bestaat onder andere uit:

  • Bewerken van natuursteen, graniet, marmer, keramiek en composiet
  • Op maat brengen van natuursteenelementen
  • Uitvoeren van manuele en machinale bewerkingstechnieken
  • Zagen van verstekken
  • Polijsten en afwerken van natuursteenelementen
  • Verlijmen van verschillende onderdelen
  • Voorbereiden van werkzaamheden op de werf
  • Inrichten van de werf
  • Plaatsen van natuursteenelementen bij klanten
  • Controleren van de kwaliteit en afwerking
  • Samenwerken met collega’s om projecten tijdig af te ronden

Je werkt zowel in het atelier als op locatie. Dankzij de afwisseling tussen bewerking, afwerking en plaatsing is geen enkele werkdag hetzelfde.

Voor deze functie zoeken we iemand die:

  • Affiniteit heeft met natuursteen, interieurafwerking of plaatsing
  • Een eerste ervaring heeft in een gelijkaardige functie
  • Nauwkeurig en kwaliteitsgericht werkt
  • Klantvriendelijk is
  • Zowel zelfstandig als in teamverband kan werken
  • Flexibel ingesteld is
  • Beschikt over een rijbewijs B
  • Zeer goed Nederlands spreekt

Een specifieke opleiding is niet vereist. Motivatie, technische interesse en de bereidheid om het vak verder aan te leren zijn belangrijk.
