Krijg jij energie van IT-infrastructuur die echt moet werken en goed beveiligd moet zijn? Als Network & Security Engineer krijg je een brede technische rol waarin je niet alleen problemen oplost, maar ook actief meebouwt aan een veilige en stabiele IT-omgeving. Je werkt vanuit Poperinge, krijgt veel zelfstandigheid en wordt betrokken bij projecten rond netwerken, security en infrastructuur. Een rol voor iemand die nauwkeurig werkt, verantwoordelijkheid neemt en tegelijk graag samenwerkt met een hecht IT-team.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Je biedt 2nd line IT-support en analyseert en lost technische problemen op rond pc's, servers, accounts, Microsoft 365, ERP en netwerkapparatuur.
  • Je beheert en bouwt verder aan de netwerkinfrastructuur, firewalls, servers, RDS-omgevingen, back-up en VOIP.
  • Je legt sterk de focus op IT-security: je analyseert risico's rond cybercriminaliteit en softwarebugs en werkt mee aan beveiligingsoplossingen.
  • Je realiseert en ondersteunt IT-projecten en implementaties, van voorbereiding tot uitrol binnen de organisatie en zusterbedrijven.
  • Je helpt structuur en standaarden uitbouwen binnen IT en deelt je kennis met collega's en interne gebruikers.

Waar ga je werken? Onze klant is actief binnen een internationale omgeving met meerdere vestigingen en beschikt over een uitgebreide eigen IT-infrastructuur. Vanuit het IT-team wordt de volledige omgeving ondersteund en verder uitgebouwd, met steeds meer aandacht voor netwerkbeheer, security, standaardisatie en cybersecurity.

  • Je hebt minstens 3 jaar ervaring als System Engineer en bent klaar voor een meer gevorderde 2nd line rol.
  • Je beschikt over een bachelor binnen IT of een relevante richting.
  • Je hebt sterke kennis van netwerkinfrastructuur, systemen en security en hebt ervaring met implementaties of IT-projecten.
  • Je werkt zeer nauwkeurig en discreet, maar kan ook zelfstandig beslissingen nemen en samenwerken met collega's.
