Ook het ziekenhuis geeft de voorkeur aan sollicitanten die langere tijd beschikbaar zijn en zich volledig willen onderdompelen in deze tropische ervaring. Functieomschrijving Als OK Assistent op Curaçao vervul je een belangrijke rol binnen het team. Je ondersteunt chirurgen en verpleegkundigen tijdens operaties en draagt zorg voor een soepele en efficiënte werking van de operatiekamer. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het assisteren bij operatieve ingrepen, het klaarzetten en controleren van benodigde apparatuur en het zorgen voor een steriele werkomgeving. Daarnaast draag je bij aan de nazorg van patiënten. Deze functie biedt niet alleen een professionele uitdaging, maar ook de unieke kans om te werken op het prachtige eiland Curaçao, waar je deel uitmaakt van een dynamisch en internationaal team in een tropische omgeving. Over het Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) Curaçao is een eiland binnen het Koninkrijk der Nederlanden met circa 160.000 inwoners. Het eiland en ook de gezondheidszorg zijn volop in ontwikkeling en dit biedt vele mogelijkheden. In november 2019 werd het nieuwe Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) geopend, met brede specialistische medische zorg en 412 bedden. Het ziekenhuis is een centrum met vrijwel alle basis-specialistische functies en een groot aantal topklinische functies.
