Een leerling die een talent ontdekt of een taak steeds zelfstandiger uitvoert: jij helpt die groei mogelijk te maken. Als onderwijsassistent begeleid je leerlingen uit de symbioseklas die extra ondersteuning nodig hebben bij hun gedrag en emoties. Je geeft hen ruimte om zichzelf te zijn en biedt duidelijke grenzen. Met jouw enthousiasme en creatieve ideeën maak je leren uitdagend en toegankelijk.

Jouw werkzaamheden:

• Je begeleidt leerlingen bij verschillende theorie- en praktijkvakken. • Je biedt structuur, begrenst ongewenst gedrag en sluit aan bij wat iedere leerling nodig heeft. • Je helpt leerlingen hun talenten ontdekken en vaardigheden zoals plannen en organiseren verbeteren. • Je volgt de ontwikkeling van de groep en van iedere leerling. • Je onderhoudt contact met ouders, verzorgers en externe betrokkenen. • Je begeleidt leerlingen als mentor, eventueel samen met een collega. Je past waar nodig het ontwikkelingsperspectiefplan (OPP) aan, samen met de orthopedagoog en ondersteuningscoördinator. • Je gebruikt de ondersteuning vanuit het voortgezet speciaal onderwijs (VSO) Mariendaal tijdens lessen en begeleiding.

Ook jouw ideeën tellen mee. Samen met collega's werk je aan beter onderwijs. Je volgt ontwikkelingen binnen de vakgebieden en gebruikt deze in je werk.

Je werkt 32 uur per week. Je start op 26 oktober 2026 en werkt tot en met 19 februari 2027, met kans op verlenging.

Functie-eisen: Jij kijkt naar de mogelijkheden van een leerling en weet hoe je die kunt stimuleren. Je motiveert, geeft duidelijke grenzen aan en past je begeleiding aan wanneer dat nodig is. Je werkt graag samen en vraagt actief om advies. Ook blijf je jezelf ontwikkelen in lesgeven en begeleiden.

• Heb je minimaal mbo-4-niveau. • Heb je een opleiding tot onderwijsassistent, pedagogisch medewerker of een vergelijkbare opleiding. • Heb je kennis van vmbo-leerlingen en interesse in het groene onderwijs. • Ben je bereid leerlingen bij meerdere theorie- en praktijkva
