IGW is deel van de BMT-groep en heeft een wereldwijde, sterke reputatie als ontwerper en producent van tandwielen en mechanische componenten. Ze zorgen voor de aandrijving van compressoren, motoren voor schepen en energieopwekking, spoorwegtoepasingen, pompen voor olie- en gaswinning...

Onze vestiging in Oostkamp is gespecialiseerd in de productie van grote, unieke tandwielen voor de projectmarkt (stukwerk, kleine series) en grote aluminium componenten (Prismatic Parts) voor de medische en lithografische sector, en kent momenteel een sterke groei.

Jouw opdracht:

  • Je staat in voor het ontbramen van mechanische delen uit aluminium frames.
  • Je bewerkt en schuurt oneffenheden en ruwheden weg van de aluminium onderdelen
  • Je staat in voor de kwalitatieve eindafwerking van de onderdelen.
  • Je volgt nauwkeurig de veiligheidsregels en instructies om de werkzaamheden correct uit te voeren

Jobgerelateerde competenties:

  • Je verwijdert bramen en scherpe randen door schuren, slijpen of machinale bewerking
  • Je zorgt voor een kwalitatieve, nauwkeurige eindafwerking van onderdelen
  • Je werkt met roterende gereedschappen (elektrisch en pneumatisch) en diverse schuur- en slijpmiddelen
  • Je stelt ontbraammachines en parameters correct in en bedient deze efficiënt
  • Je monteert, stelt af en onderhoudt productiegereedschappen en hulptools (zoals boormallen en kalibers)
  • Je positioneert, manipuleert en transporteert werkstukken veilig, met behulp van o.a. hefbruggen, takels en transpalet
  • Je voert diverse afwerkingshandelingen uit zoals schuren, controleren, bijwerken en reinigen (ontvetten, afkrabben, wassen)
  • Je bepaalt de juiste bewerking en gereedschappen op basis van technische fiches en de staat van het werkstuk
  • Je bewaakt de kwaliteit door oppervlakken en maatvoering te controleren volgens toleranties
  • Je detecteert en lost productieproblemen en storingen op en signaleert afwijkingen tijdig
  • Je staat in voor eerstelijnsonderhoud en controleert/vervangt slijtage van schuurmiddelen

Jouw profiel:

  • Je bent bereid om in een 5-dagenploegensysteem te werken in een productieomgeving.
  • Opleiding & ervaring: Technische achtergrond of sterke technische affiniteit Ervaring of opleiding in ontbramen is een pluspunt
  • Vaardigheden: Goed technisch inzicht en bij voorkeur kunnen lezen van technische plannen Sterke fijnmotoriek en precisie Accuraat en kwaliteitsgericht werken Basiskennis van metaalbewerking en machinegebruik Bovengemiddelde kennis van Nederlands of Engels.
  • Attitude Veiligheidsbewust en verantwoordelijk Oog voor detail en afwerkingskwaliteit Zowel zelfstandig als in teamverband goed kunnen functioneren Flexibel en betrouwbaar
