Onze opdrachtgever is een gevestigde speler binnen de haven- en logistieke sector, gespecialiseerd in de behandeling en forwarding & breakbulk. Vanuit een no-nonsense cultuur en met een sterke operationele focus zorgen zij dagelijks voor een vlotte afhandeling van internationale goederenstromen. Voor de verdere versterking van het team zoeken wij een Operations & Sales Coordinator - Staal & Breakbulk.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Commercieel & Relatiebeheer: Behandelen van prijsaanvragen en commerciële dossiers voor internationale staal- en projectladingen. Opmaken en opvolgen van offertes op maat van de klant. Onderhouden van relaties met bestaande klanten, productiebedrijven, verladers en logistieke partners. Uitbouwen van contacten met rederijen, agenten, bevrachters en internationale logistieke dienstverleners. Spotten van commerciële opportuniteiten binnen bestaande en nieuwe markten. Opvolgen van marktontwikkelingen, vrachttarieven en capaciteitswijzigingen binnen de internationale transportsector. Actief meedenken met klanten over efficiënte en kosteneffectieve logistieke oplossingen.
  • Operations & Logistieke Coördinatie Van A tot Z opvolgen van internationale transportdossiers. Coördineren van breakbulk-, projectcargo- en containerzendingen. Organiseren van laad-, los- en overslagactiviteiten in haven- en terminalomgevingen. Afstemmen met rederijen, transporteurs, terminals, magazijnen en andere betrokken partijen. Regelen van zeevracht, binnenvaart, wegtransport en multimodale oplossingen. Coördineren van uitzonderlijke of complexe ladingen zoals heavy lifts en out-of-gauge transporten. Opvolgen van inspecties, surveys en operationele kwaliteitscontroles. Bewaken van afgesproken deadlines, budgetten en kwaliteitsstandaarden.
  • Administratie & Dossierbeheer Opvolgen en beheren van transport- en projectdossiers van offerte tot facturatie. Controleren van kosten, leveranciersfacturen en operationele prestaties. Voorbereiden en opvolgen van klantfacturatie. Signaleren en oplossen van operationele knelpunten of afwijkingen. Snel schakelen bij vertragingen, planningswijzigingen of onverwachte logistieke uitdagingen. Meedenken over procesoptimalisaties en verbeteringen binnen commerciële en operationele workflows. Zorgen voor een correcte vertaalslag van commerciële afspraken naar de operationele uitvoering.

Jouw ideale achtergrond:

  • Een relevante & stabiele ervaring van minstens 1,5 à 2 jaar in expeditie.
  • Ervaring binnen forwarding, shipping, projectlogistiek, expeditie of internationale transportsector.
  • Affiniteit met maritieme logistiek, breakbulk, projectcargo of supply chain management.
  • Sterke commerciële feeling gecombineerd met een operationele mindset.
  • Vlotte beheersing van Nederlands en Engels. Extra talen zijn een plus.
  • Goed organisatorisch vermogen en sterk in het stellen van prioriteiten.
  • Klantgericht, communicatief en relatiegericht.
  • Probleemoplossend ingesteld en stressbestendig.
  • Ondernemend en proactief, met een sterke verantwoordelijkheidszin.
  • Sterk analytisch vermogen en oog voor detail.
  • Zowel zelfstandig als in teamverband succesvol kunnen werken.
