Bij storingen wordt eerst zelf naar een oplossing gezocht. Dit gebeurt vaak samen met de technische dienst om de eigen kennis te vergroten. Door de variatie in taken is er veel ruimte om ervaring op te bouwen. Dit biedt kansen om door te groeien naar technisch operator of leidinggevende.
