The posting

Als Operator Metaalsector werk je in het hart van de productie en ben je verantwoordelijk voor het volledige proces van stalen buizen aan de Tubemill. Je stelt de machines in, voert ombouwwerkzaamheden uit en zorgt ervoor dat het productieproces vlot en kwalitatief verloopt. Deze functie combineert technische uitdaging met leidinggevende verantwoordelijkheden, waardoor je een cruciale rol speelt in de dagelijkse werking van het bedrijf.

Op een doorsnee werkdag start je met het instellen van de Tubemill voor de geplande productieruns. Je voert kwaliteitscontroles uit, geeft leiding aan een team van 4 à 5 medewerkers en grijpt in bij eventuele storingen. Je houdt de productieaantallen bij, communiceert met collega’s en zorgt dat alles ordelijk en veilig verloopt op de werkvloer. Ook voer je administratieve taken uit, zoals rapporteren in het opvolgingssysteem en het signaleren van grondstofbehoeften.

  • Je beschikt over een diploma hoger secundair onderwijs, bij voorkeur technisch georiënteerd
  • Je hebt minstens 2 tot 5 jaar ervaring in een technische of productieomgeving, bij voorkeur in de metaalsector
  • Je bent technisch sterk, werkt nauwkeurig en zelfstandig
  • Je hebt leidinggevende capaciteiten en kan een klein team aansturen
  • Je spreekt en schrijft vlot Nederlands; basiskennis Engels is een plus
  • Je bent hands-on, stressbestendig en flexibel ingesteld
  • Je bent bereid te werken in een 2-ploegenstelsel (6u-14u / 14u-22u)
