Wij voorzien miljoenen mensen over de hele wereld van zuivelproducten die rijk zijn aan waardevolle voedingsstoffen uit melk. Met 21.715 medewerkers wereldwijd en vestigingen in 30 landen, vinden onze producten hun weg naar meer dan 100 landen via marketing- en verkoopkantoren, partners en distributeurs.

Jobomschrijving

Als Packaging & Warehouse Manager stuur je niet alleen een team aan maar je steekt ook nog graag de handen uit de mouwen om processen, mensen en werking verder te verbeteren.

Je komt terecht in een productieomgeving van ongeveer 120 medewerkers waar nog heel wat ruimte is voor verbetering en professionalisering. Dat betekent dat je niet enkel een bestaande werking beheert, maar ook daadwerkelijk mee bepaalt hoe de site verder evolueert.

Je krijgt verantwoordelijkheid over een team van ongeveer 40 medewerkers en werkt nauw samen met de Plant Manager.

Jouw impact:

  • Je coacht en ontwikkelt je team en zorgt voor een sterke operationele werking.
  • Je identificeert verbeterpunten en zet continuous improvement-projecten om in concrete resultaten.
  • Je krijgt ruimte om projecten en CAPEX-initiatieven mee te trekken.
  • Je gebruikt je technische en operationele inzicht om problemen op de vloer te begrijpen én structureel aan te pakken.
  • Je werkt met SAP en andere operationele systemen.
  • Je vormt een belangrijke schakel tussen de mensen op de vloer en het management.

Een sterke people manager met ervaring in een productieomgeving.

Je hoeft zeker geen jarenlange ervaring in de voedingssector te hebben. Ook kandidaten uit bijvoorbeeld metaal, automotive, packaging, FMCG of andere industriële productieomgevingen kunnen perfect aansluiten.

We kijken onder meer naar:

  • Ervaring met people management
  • Productie-/operationservaring
  • Technisch en analytisch inzicht
  • Ervaring met verbeterprojecten / continuous improvement
  • Affiniteit met SAP
  • Projectmatige ingesteldheid
  • Minimaal bachelor denkniveau
  • Een gezonde drive om bestaande werkwijzen kritisch te bekijken en te verbeteren
