Physician assistant - 09-10-2026 - Sittard - parttime - hbo - tijdelijk Ben jij een physician assistant en werk je graag in een afwisselende en zelfstandige functie? Lever jij graag je bijdrage aan de behandeling van volwassenen met urologische problematiek? Dan is deze baan iets voor jou! Jouw nieuwe baan Als physician assistant werk je binnen de verpleegafdeling Urologie en het Behandelcentrum Urologie. Je begeleidt patiënten tijdens hun klinische opname. Hierbij voer je, onder supervisie van een uroloog, de ochtendvisite uit, doe je zelf diagnostiek (denk aan een echo nieren/blaas of cystoscopie) en stel je een behandelplan op. Er is altijd laagdrempelig overleg mogelijk met een uroloog of ervaren AIOS. Je krijgt bij ons volop ruimte om je werkzaamheden binnen de urologie verder uit te breiden en je te ontwikkelen. Je werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit: - Het uitvoeren van klinische intercollegiale consulten en het beoordelen van patiënten op de Spoedeisende Hulp. - Het begeleiden en uitvoeren van onderwijs- en opleidingsactiviteiten binnen onze opleidingskliniek, waar persoonlijke ontwikkeling een belangrijk onderdeel van het werk is. In overleg breiden we je takenpakket uit, passend bij je ervaring, ambities en ontwikkelbehoefte. Denk hierbij aan het zelfstandig verrichten van poliklinische urologische ingrepen, zoals vasectomie en circumcisie. - Het verder uitbreiden van je urologische vaardigheden met procedures zoals het plaatsen van een JJ-katheter of nefrostomiekatheter. Wat neem je mee? Je werkt zelfstandig, nauwkeurig en houdt goed overzicht. Je luistert naar de patiënt en legt medische informatie duidelijk uit. Je werkt graag samen met urologen, verpleegkundigen en andere zorgprofessionals en weet wanneer je moet overleggen. Je denkt mee over goede patiëntenzorg en staat open voor nieuwe ontwikkelingen binnen de urologie. Daarnaast beschik je over: - Een diploma physician assistant bij een door de Nederlands-Vlaa...
