Onze klant is een gevestigde waarde binnen de internationale logistiek en transportwereld. Ze opereren vanuit het bruisende hart van de Antwerpse haven.

In deze rol als Planner Containerlogistiek: Lichters/Treinen ben je dagelijks de onmisbare schakel die transporten van boeking tot uitvoering in goede banen leidt. Je bent de hele dag door aan het schakelen met chauffeurs, ritten aan het inplannen en je zorgt ervoor dat containers op het juiste moment op de trein of de vrachtwagens worden gezet. Je grijpt direct in zodra een planning dreigt uit te lopen.

Taken

  • Het inplannen van transporten in nauw overleg met vervoerders, waarbij je continu de capaciteit en beschikbaarheid bewaakt.
  • Het realtime bewaken van de operationele flow, zodat je direct een signaal geeft of bijstuurt bij afwijkingen.
  • Het aansturen van chauffeurs en transporteurs door het geven van duidelijke instructies, zodat iedereen precies weet wat de bedoeling is.
  • Een intensieve samenwerking met de Customer Service-afdeling om klanten en agenten proactief en tijdig te informeren.
  • Het feilloos registreren van alle ritten, wijzigingen en incidenten in de systemen voor een nauwkeurige documentatie.
  • Het meedenken over procesverbeteringen om de logistieke keten elke dag een stukje efficiënter te maken.

Profiel

  • Je beschikt over relevante ervaring met planning of operations binnen de transport- of logistieke sector.
  • Ervaring met terminals, slots en operationele IT-systemen wordt gezien als een grote troef.
