De meewerkend ploegbaas groen binnen het team Openbare Ruimte staat in voor het operationeel aansturen en mee uitvoeren van groenonderhoud en -aanleg in het openbaar domein. Hij/zij is het eerste aanspreekpunt op de werf, begeleidt en ondersteunt de ploeg, bewaakt de veiligheid, kwaliteit en planning, en zorgt voor een goede organisatie van middelen, materiaal en werkprocessen. De meewerkend ploegbaas helpt zo mee een aantrekkelijke, verzorgde en duurzame groene leefomgeving te realiseren voor inwoners en bezoekers.

Concreet...

  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse leiding, organisatie en coördinatie van de medewerkers binnen de ploeg. Inclusief het begeleiden, motiveren en opvolgen van collega’s.
  • Je zorgt voor een efficiënte en doeltreffende inzet van mens en middelen op de werf: correct gebruik van machines, vermijden van verspilling, optimaliseren van werkvolgorde en logistiek.
  • Je volgt actief nieuwe mogelijkheden, technieken en opportuniteiten binnen groenbeheer, materialen en werkmethoden op (bv. ecologisch maaibeheer, elektrische machines, biodiversiteitsvriendelijke toepassingen).
  • Je draagt bij aan het bewaken van de kwaliteitszorg door regelmatig controles uit te voeren en te zorgen dat klachten en meldingen (via meldpunt, teamleider of burgers) het nodige gevolg krijgen.
  • Je implementeert een leer- en verbetercultuur door ervaring te delen en collega’s te ondersteunen bij het ontwikkelen van betere werkwijzen.
  • Je kan positief-kritisch meedenken over continue verbetering van werkprocessen, dienstverlening, veiligheid en kwaliteit binnen de organisatie-eenheid.
  • Je kan je medewerkers actief stimuleren om mee te denken over verbeteringen, innovatieve ideeën in te brengen en een kwaliteitsgerichte houding aan te nemen.
  • Je hebt een goed zicht op de noodzakelijke middelen, materialen, gereedschappen en machines, en neemt tijdig de gepaste acties (melden van tekorten, aanvragen van herstellingen, doorgeven van behoeftes).
  • Je kan advies verstrekken over investeringsnoden en -wensen, op basis van terreinervaring (bv. nood aan vervanging machines, bijkomende materialen, veiligheidstoepassingen).
