The posting

Je werkt in Zeebrugge binnen een internationale logistieke groep met activiteiten in transport, cargo en havens. De organisatie is actief in verschillende Europese landen en telt meer dan 3.000 medewerkers.

Binnen het technische team zorg je ervoor dat het materieel waarmee trailers en containers worden vervoerd en vastgezet, veilig en betrouwbaar blijft. Je werkt zowel zelfstandig als samen met collega's en krijgt de nodige opleiding om je verder te ontwikkelen.

Jobomschrijving

Je staat in voor het onderhoud, herstel en testen van roll-trailers, roro-cassettes en ander specifiek havenmaterieel. Concreet:

  • Je voert jaarlijkse controles en inspecties uit.
  • Je onderhoudt en herstelt het materieel.
  • Je monteert onder andere lagers en voert smeerwerken uit.
  • Je herstelt beschadigingen en last scheuren op.
  • Je voert laswerken uit met halfautomatische lasapparatuur.
  • Je zorgt voor een nette en correcte afwerking.
  • Je helpt bij het herschilderen van onderdelen.
  • Je test het materieel na onderhoud of herstelling.
  • Je signaleert problemen en denkt mee over mogelijke oplossingen.
  • Je hebt een diploma secundair onderwijs, bij voorkeur in een technische richting.
  • Je hebt ervaring met lassen. Dit is belangrijk voor deze functie.
  • Ervaring met halfautomatisch lassen is een sterke troef.
  • Je hebt technisch inzicht en werkt graag met je handen.
  • Je kan zelfstandig werken, maar functioneert ook goed in een team.
  • Je neemt verantwoordelijkheid voor je werk en durft initiatief te nemen.
  • Je spreekt en begrijpt goed Nederlands.
  • Je beschikt over een rijbewijs B.
  • Je kan vlot met een computer overweg voor de nodige administratie.
  • Je staat open voor opleidingen en wil nieuwe technieken aanleren.
  • Binnen- en buitenwerk schrikt je niet af.
