Wir suchen für unseren Auftraggeber 1 PostgreSQL - Datenbankadministrator (w/m/d) Unser Kunde betreibt eine anspruchsvolle IT-Systemlandschaft und sucht für sein Team am Standort Wien Verstärkung in einer langfristigen Festanstellung. In dieser verantwortungsvollen Position übernimmst du den Betrieb, die Optimierung und die Weiterentwicklung kritischer PostgreSQL-Datenbankumgebungen.

Das sind deine Aufgaben:

* Du administrierst und betreibst PostgreSQL-Datenbankcluster in Produktions-, Test- und Entwicklungsumgebungen.

* Du implementierst, wartest und optimierst Backup- und Recovery-Lösungen.

* Du führst Performance-Tuning, Monitoring, Troubleshooting und Debugging komplexer Datenbanksysteme durch.

* Du baust High-Availability- und Load-Balancing-Lösungen auf und betreust diese, beispielsweise mit HAProxy und PgBouncer.

* Du installierst, konfigurierst und wartest Linux-Server.

* Du unterstützt bei der Erweiterung und Optimierung bestehender Systemlandschaften.

* Nach einer entsprechenden Einarbeitung nimmst du an der Rufbereitschaft teil.

Das bringst du mit:

* Du verfügst über mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Administration von PostgreSQL-Datenbanken, idealerweise mit EDB.

* Du besitzt sehr gute Kenntnisse in Backup & Recovery.

* Du hast Erfahrung mit Performance-Tuning, Troubleshooting und Debugging im Enterprise-Umfeld.

* Du bringst praktische Kenntnisse in HAProxy, PgBouncer oder vergleichbaren Load-Balancing-Lösungen mit.

* Du verfügst über gute Linux-Kenntnisse, insbesondere in RedHat und Ubuntu.

* Du kommunizierst sicher auf Deutsch und Englisch.

* Du arbeitest teamorientiert, strukturiert und lösungsorientiert.

* Erfahrung mit hochverfügbaren Datenbankumgebungen ist von Vorteil.

* Du wohnst in Wien oder in räumlicher Nähe und bist bereit, erforderliche Sicherheitsüberprüfungen durchzuführen.

* Du besitzt eine EU-Staatsbürgerschaft.
