Both Niko Home Control as our lighting control portfolio belong to your responsibility.

For this role, we are looking for two electricians or hands on specialists who are ready to take the next step in their career and move into a more project-based and commercially oriented pre-sales role. Your electrical experience and interest in building technology will help you understand customer needs, interpret technical information and translate it into accurate project proposals and quotations.

The pre-sales technicians we are looking for are responsible for preparing project proposals and quotations for customers, based on information gathered from tenders, customer requests and input from sales colleagues. You’ll make sure every request is followed professionally, within the agreed deadlines, and with a strong focus on quality, accuracy and customer satisfaction. To achieve this, you’ll work closely with colleagues in sales, technical teams and other internal departments.

  • Prepare quotations based on approved project proposals, as well as direct requests from wholesalers, customers or colleagues.
  • Handle customer inquiries related to project support through relevant channels, mainly by phone and email.
  • Maintain project mailboxes and ensure every customer receives a reply within 24 hours.
  • Follow up customer requests within the agreed deadline and take action when another solution is needed.
  • Register all relevant data in the CRM system.
  • Save and organize all relevant project documentation according to the agreed structure.
  • Ensure that every project proposal follows the department guidelines and contains all required information.
  • Keep your calendar up to date with planned project proposals and other relevant tasks to support smooth collaboration with colleagues.
  • Carry out all assignments with a strong focus on quality, accuracy and clear documentation.
  • Work in a structured and systematic way, aiming for error-free results while continuously improving processes and output.
  • Ensure customers have a positive and professional experience in every interaction with Wygwam.
  • You have a strong interest or knowledge in building automation and the standards, protocols and technology used.
  • You are structured and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time without losing overview.
  • You have strong communication skills and can translate technical information into clear explanations for both customers and colleagues.
  • You have a team-oriented mindset and enjoy working closely with sales and technical teams.
  • ·You are customer-focused and proactive in understanding customer needs and providing technically sound solutions.
  • You work accurately and have a strong sense of responsibility for the quality of your work.
  • You are comfortable using standard office software such as Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • You are familiar with digital tools related to daily administrative and project follow-up tasks.
  • You are fluent in Dutch, both spoken and written.
  • You have basic to intermediate knowledge of English, sufficient to understand internal communication and participate in meetings.
  • Fluency in French, both spoken and written, is considered a strong plus.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
