Heb je een sterk technisch inzicht en een passie voor procesoptimalisatie? Wil je aan de slag bij een innovatieve speler die hoogkwalitatieve en exclusieve outdoor producten ontwikkelt? Dan is deze functie als Process Engineer zeker iets voor jou.

Voor onze klant in de regio Kortrijk, deel van een internationale groep met meer dan 2.000 medewerkers wereldwijd (waarvan 400 in België), zoeken we een ervaren Process Engineer. De organisatie beschikt over zeven productievestigingen en meer dan 20 verkoopkantoren wereldwijd, en realiseert jaarlijks een omzet van ruim 150 miljoen euro.

Hun producten worden intern ontwikkeld én getest in een eigen testcentrum om de hoogste kwaliteit te garanderen. Door de sterke groei zoekt het bedrijf een extra Process Engineer ter ondersteuning van de huidige Senior Process Engineer, met focus op procesverbetering en efficiëntie binnen de productieomgeving.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Je staat in voor het doorvoeren van verbeteringsprojecten en optimalisaties binnen productie
  • Op deze manier worden de operationele processen naar een hoger level gestuwd
  • Je vormt de brug tussen Ontwerp, R&D, Production, Quality, Purchase,…
  • Vanaf de R&D fase van een nieuw product ben je nauw betrokken en denk je mee na over de technische haalbaarheid (gaan we het product kunnen produceren? Hebben we nieuwe machines of componenten nodig? Moeten de productielijnen worden aangepast?)
  • Je ontwikkelt nieuwe productieprocessen en gaat na of de kosten van de huidige gebruikte processen kunnen worden gedrukt
  • Je bent in het bezit van een Bachelors/Masterdiploma Elektromechanica/Machine- en Productieautomatisering/Procestechniek
  • Een eerdere relevante werkervaring binnen een industrieel productiebedrijf van een 5-tal jaar is een must
  • Je bent analytisch ingesteld en spreekt naast het Nederlands ook Engels
