Functie

Voor onze klant, actief in metaalbewerking, zijn we op zoek naar een Process Engineer die gespecialiseerd is in decoiling (afwikkelen/vlakken) en slitting (reep-snijden). In deze rol ben je verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerpen, optimaliseren en technisch ondersteunen van de processen waarbij rollen staal, aluminium en RVS worden verwerkt tot platen of smallere stroken.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Procesoptimalisatie: Je ontwerpt en optimaliseert productieprocessen voor de decoil- en slitlijnen om de efficiëntie te verhogen en afval te verminderen.
  • Monitoring: Je monitort en verbetert continu de procesparameters zoals snelheid, nauwkeurigheid en veiligheid.
  • Technische voorbereiding: Je voorziet werkorders van de juiste programma's, instellingen en instructies voor de machinale bewerkingen.
  • Troubleshooting: Je biedt ondersteuning op de werkvloer bij complexe technische problemen en implementeert structurele oplossingen.
  • Documentatie: Je stelt technische documentatie, werkinstructies en procedures op en houdt deze up-to-date.
  • Kwaliteit & Veiligheid: Je waarborgt dat alle processen voldoen aan de ISO 9001-normen en de strengste veiligheidseisen.
  • Innovatie: Je evalueert nieuwe technologieën en apparatuur en adviseert over investeringen om het machinepark up-to-date te houden.

Profiel

  • Je hebt een hoger technisch diploma (Bachelor of Master), bijvoorbeeld in Werktuigbouwkunde, Elektromechanica of Industriële Technologie.
  • Ervaring in metaalbewerking of "coil processing" is een groot pluspunt.
  • Je beschikt over sterke analytische vaardigheden en hebt ervaring met data-analyse en continuous improvement methodieken.
  • Je bent communicatief vaardig, teamgericht en hebt een goede kennis van CAD-software.
