Voor onze klant in Wellen, een gerenommeerde producent van op maat gemaakte gethermoformeerde kunststofverpakkingen voor zowel de food- als non-foodsector, zijn wij op zoek naar een Product development engineer (productontwikkelaar).

Heb jij een passie voor productontwikkeling, technische innovatie en klantgerichte oplossingen? Wil je een sleutelrol spelen in het traject van idee tot afgewerkt product? Dan biedt deze functie jou een boeiende uitdaging binnen een innovatieve productieomgeving.

Als Product Development Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het begeleiden van verpakkingsontwikkelingen van concept tot productie. Je werkt nauw samen met klanten, collega's en verschillende productiesites om innovatieve en kwalitatieve verpakkingsoplossingen te realiseren.

Je takenpakket omvat onder meer:

  • Het begeleiden en uitwerken van verpakkingsprojecten vanaf de eerste klantvraag tot de effectieve opstart in productie.
  • Het ontwikkelen van nieuwe verpakkingsconcepten in nauwe samenwerking met klanten en interne teams over verschillende productiesites heen.
  • Het opstellen en beheren van productspecificaties, waarbij je waakt over kwaliteit, timing en budget.
  • Het adviseren en ondersteunen van klanten bij technische en inhoudelijke vraagstukken, zowel vanuit kantoor als op locatie.
  • Het analyseren en optimaliseren van bestaande verpakkingsoplossingen om prestaties, duurzaamheid en kostenefficiëntie verder te verbeteren.
  • Het opvolgen van marktontwikkelingen, innovaties en producttrends binnen de verpakkingssector en het actief delen van deze inzichten binnen de organisatie.
  • Het fungeren als schakel tussen klant, ontwikkeling en productie om een vlotte en succesvolle implementatie van nieuwe producten te garanderen.

Je hebt een Master Productontwikkeling of een gelijkaardige technische richting.

Je bent klantgericht en communicatief.

Je hebt materiaal technisch inzicht en interesse in kunststof (verpakkingen) .

Je kan 3D ontwerpen en bent goed in projectopvolging.

Je werkt zelfstandig, nauwkeurig en oplossingsgericht.

Je bezit een goede kennis van het Nederlands, Engels en Frans.
