Voor een organisatie die sterk inzet op innovatie en productontwikkeling zijn we op zoek naar een Product Manager. Iemand die graag de markt induikt, luistert naar klanten en opportuniteiten weet te vertalen naar concrete producten en verbeteringen.

In deze veelzijdige rol sta je dicht bij de klant, maar werk je tegelijk nauw samen met Sales, Marketing, R&D en Productie. Je begeleidt het volledige traject: van een eerste idee tot een product dat klaar is voor de markt.

De markt en de klant vormen jouw vertrekpunt. Je bent regelmatig aanwezig op beurzen en bij klanten en weet hun noden en verwachtingen te vertalen naar nieuwe opportuniteiten.

Verder behoren volgende zaken tot jouw verantwoordelijkheid:

  • Marktonderzoek uitvoeren en markt- en concurrentieontwikkelingen opvolgen.
  • Nieuwe productopportuniteiten detecteren en onderzoeken.
  • Klantbehoeften vertalen naar concrete input voor R&D.
  • Productontwikkelingen opvolgen van idee tot testing en lancering.
  • Samenwerken met Marketing rond producttrainingen en commerciële ondersteuning.
  • Nieuwe producten helder vertalen naar Sales en klanten.
  • Meedenken over productverbeteringen en optimalisaties.

Een functie met een brede scope, waarbij je verschillende afdelingen samenbrengt en ervoor zorgt dat ideeën ook daadwerkelijk gerealiseerd worden.

Een analytische en ondernemende professional met een combinatie van technische kennis en commerciële feeling.

  • Een technische master of sterke technische bachelor.
  • Enkele jaren relevante ervaring; ervaring binnen productmanagement is een plus.
  • Een sterke technische feeling, bij voorkeur vanuit mechanische producten of een maakomgeving.
  • Interesse in marktontwikkelingen, innovatie en klantbehoeften.
  • Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en het vermogen om vlot te schakelen tussen verschillende gesprekspartners.
  • Een klantgerichte en ondernemende ingesteldheid.
  • Goede kennis van Nederlands en Engels.

Je spreekt als het ware verschillende talen: met een klant communiceer je anders dan met R&D of Marketing. Net die veelzijdigheid maakt jou sterk in deze rol.
