The posting

Als Productieleider ben jij verantwoordelijk voor het volledige beheer van de productieafdeling in Meise (VLAB, BE). Je coördineert en optimaliseert de productieprocessen om kwalitatieve eindresultaten te garanderen. Een belangrijke focus ligt op het leiden van een team van ongeveer 25 medewerkers in de productie van metaal, inox, hout, marmer en glas. Hieronder jouw belangrijkste taken en verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Beheren en ontwikkelen van het productiebeleid, inclusief prioriteitenstelling.
  • Plannen en organiseren van het gebruik van machines en arbeidsuren.
  • Monitoren van productievoortgang en machine-efficiëntie; actie ondernemen bij afwijkingen.
  • Optimaliseren van productietijden, materiaalverbruik en werkkapitaal.
  • Opstellen en beheren van het werkingsbudget.
  • Werken aan het trainen, motiveren en coachen van medewerkers.
  • Zorgdragen voor een veilige en gestructureerde werkomgeving.
  • Samenwerken met werkvoorbereiding, projectleiders en andere afdelingen.
  • Zelf tekenwerk uitvoeren en meedenken in praktische oplossingen waar nodig.

Voor deze dynamische functie zoeken wij een kandidaat die zich herkent in onderstaand profiel:

  • Minimaal 5-10 jaar ervaring in een productieomgeving, bij voorkeur met focus op metaalbewerking of een gerelateerd domein.
  • Aantoonbare ervaring met leidinggeven aan teams van diverse ervaringsniveaus.
  • Bij voorkeur een Bachelor of Master diploma, maar relevante ervaring kan dit compenseren.
  • Vaardigheid in het plannen en organiseren van werk en resources.
  • Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden in het Nederlands; basiskennis van Frans en Engels is een plus.
  • Bereidheid om vroeg te starten (6:30 starttijd, werkdag van 8 uur) en flexibel mee te denken buiten de 9-tot-5-mentaliteit.
  • Sterke people management skills en het vermogen om medewerkers te coachen en motiveren.
