Onze klant is een internationale gigant en absolute marktleider in de regio Turnhout op het vlak van zware metalen constructies. Vanuit hun hoofdkantoor realiseren ze indrukwekkende, grensverleggende bouwwerken en gigantische offshore windenergieprojecten.

In deze rol als Project Aankoper Staal ben je van A tot Z verantwoordelijk voor de volledige aankoop binnen uitdagende staalbouwprojecten. Je bent de spilfiguur die nauw samenwerkt met engineering en werkvoorbereiding om zowel kleine onderdelen als grote investeringsgoederen tijdig en tegen de beste voorwaarden op de werf te krijgen.

Functieomschrijving

  • Het van A tot Z beheren van het aankoopproces voor uiteenlopende projecten, van bouten en kleine componenten tot grote machines en investeringsgoederen.
  • Het kritisch analyseren van de bestellijsten van de engineeringafdeling om te toetsen op haalbaarheid en scherpe prijzen.
  • Het voeren van stevige onderhandelingen met zowel nationale als internationale leveranciers en vaste partners.
  • Het herbekijken en actualiseren van prijzen binnen langlopende tender dossiers.
  • Het vlot schakelen tussen verschillende afdelingen en systemen om projecten in goede banen te leiden.

Profiel

  • Je beschikt bij voorkeur over een Master Ingenieur of een gelijkwaardige technische achtergrond.
  • Je hebt minimaal een eerste ervaring als technisch aankoper; ervaring binnen de metaalsector is een absolute troef.
  • Je voelt je helemaal thuis in een hands-on projectomgeving en laat je niet afschrikken door een gezonde dosis chaos en verandering.
  • Je spreekt zeer goed Nederlands en Engels, Frans & Duits is een plus.
